“This program allows Missouri Corn to recognize these outstanding young people in our rural communities,” notes Missouri Corn Scholarship Chairman Greg Bertz of Mayview. “It also lets us help offset the cost of continuing their education, because it is very much an investment. We are so proud of the students that applied and look forward to seeing them succeed in the agriculture industry.”

In addition to Bertz, the committee is comprised of Missouri Corn Merchandising Council board members Dylan Rosier of Mound City, Brian Willott of Mexico, Brandon Thiel of Marshall, and Will Hunter of Sikeston. The slate was approved by the Missouri Corn Foundation board of directors. This is the twenty-ninth year Missouri Corn Scholarships have been awarded to students studying agriculture. Applications for the 2026 Missouri Corn Scholarship Program will be available online on or before Dec. 15, 2025.
