Missouri Corn Debuts Online Annual Report
(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.)–The Missouri Corn Growers Association (MCGA) and Missouri Corn Merchandising Council (MCMC) today made their 2012 Annual Report available online.
“We are happy to offer this new, easy to read format for online viewing,” said MCGA President Rob Korff, a corn grower from Norborne, Mo. “This layout gives visitors the opportunity to flip through the pages of the report as though it is sitting in their lap.”
Included in the report are letters from grower-leaders and updates on public policy, best management practices, research opportunities, ethanol programs, membership and outreach. A snapshot of the economic impact Missouri’s corn and ethanol industries had on the state from 2000-2011 is also featured.
Statistics and facts from the previous growing season are also highlighted along with Missouri Corn’s board of directors, staff and contact information.
“Our annual report provides a great review of the last year in the world of Missouri Corn,” noted Korff. “While many farmers faced challenges from Mother Nature and outside regulations, 2012 also brought many successes to the corn industry.”
