Rosier Elected To Missouri Corn Board
(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.)–Dylan Rosier of Mound City, Mo., was recently appointed to the Missouri Corn Merchandising Council board of directors.
“I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in agriculture and recognize how much organizations like Missouri Corn can do for local farmers in our state,” noted Rosier. “I want to protect and promote the interest of Missouri corn farmers now and in the future.”
Rosier farms alongside his father and brother, growing corn and soybeans. He also serves as a board member of the Mound City United Methodist Church and is a member of the 2017 class of Agriculture Leaders of Tomorrow.
Rosier will be nominated to the Missouri Corn Growers Association board at the organization’s annual meeting in January.
“Dylan is a strong voice for agriculture and a welcome addition to the board,” said incoming MCMC Chairman Mark Scott of Wentzville. “We thank him for his willingness to work on behalf of his fellow growers-not only in his district but statewide.”
The MCMC board of directors is comprised of 15 farmers elected from across the state. This volunteer board was formed in 1984 with the passage of a corn checkoff and is dedicated to market development, research and education. To learn more, visit www.mocorn.org.
