For the last fourteen years, Missouri Corn programs have awarded scholarships to deserving college juniors and high school seniors.
General Information
High school applicants must be Missouri residents from a Missouri farm or rural area. They must also plan to attend a two-year or four-year Missouri college or university and major in agronomy (or related subject). The scholarship funds will apply toward the freshman year of college expenses for high school senior winners.
College applicants must also be Missouri residents from a Missouri farm or rural area, and currently be a junior enrolled in a Missouri four-year college or university majoring in the field of agronomy (or related subject) during the time of application. The scholarship funds will apply toward the senior year of expenses for college junior winners.
MISSOURI CORN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM — 2010 WINNERS
In 2010, the Missouri Corn programs awarded a total of $7,500 to deserving and outstanding students. Nearly 100 applications were received for the 2010 Scholarship Program. While decisions were difficult and all candidates impressive, the Scholarship Committee selected the following winners:
- Samantha Wilkerson from Paris, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Cayanne Schlueter from Carrollton, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Dalton Brown from Exeter, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Lillie Raasch from Liberty, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Aaron Kerr from Chillicothe, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Wendy Rechterman from Higginsville, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Craig Schneider from Warrenton, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Hannah Hegeman from Savannah, Mo., to attend Northwest Missouri State University;
- Kylen Byrd from Keytesville, Mo., to attend the University of Missouri;
- Nolan Rapp from Schell City, Mo., to attend Missouri State University.
